Skyline Tally operates on a streamlined dual-counter architecture. Each score counter functions independently while sharing a unified session state. When you tap a counter, the value increments by one or two points depending on your configuration. The application maintains real-time synchronization between the display layer and the data storage layer.
The save mechanism captures the current state of both counters along with a timestamp. This data is stored locally on your device, ensuring that your score history remains private and accessible without requiring an internet connection. The history view organizes sessions chronologically, with the most recent games appearing at the top of the list.
Configuration settings persist across sessions. When you enable two-point step mode or large score numbers, these preferences remain active until you manually change them. The confirmation toggle for clearing all history adds a protective layer against accidental data loss, requiring explicit user approval before executing destructive operations.
